PixelOverlay-Clock - Revisited Again

Hello everyone,

I am running a BBB, FPP (
Version: v1.8-20-gaff9426
) and an Octoscroller.  I have 2 P10 panels in a side-by-side configuration, so 1 high X 2 wide.

I am using this as a Name plate of sorts at work for a friend.  I currently have a sequence that displays her first name for 5 seconds and then her last name for 5 seconds.  I have this repeating for the basic sequence.  I have downloaded and configured PixelOverlay-Clock.sh.  I have created an event to start the clock.  That works.  I have created an event using code found here to stop the clock.  That too works.  I am currently using Big Buttons to start and stop the clock.

My issue is this:

When the clock script stops, the current sequence does not return to the panel.  The clock at the last noted time stays visible.  And I do not have it automated to start and stop yet.

I would like the name sequence to show as it is now, covering 10 seconds.  Then I would like the clock to show for about 2 minutes.  Then rinse and repeat.

It is 3:35 AM here and I am brain fried.  Any help accomplishing this is greatly appreciated.

I can't help at all but where do I find out info on this script and how to use it?

MikeyRo

The script is found in the Web interface for the FPP under Script repository.  How to use it?  I am working on that part as well.  Search the forums here for the basic info.

I'm curious to know where that script is. I'm trying to solve this atm.

Thanks!
