Hey guys,  new to xlights and I'm trying to use my LOR controllers.  I've gotten them working with the serial port 4 on my f16v2 but now the only problem I'm having is random flashing or twinkling on all the channels/controllers even tho the effect is the steady on AC button.  I've changed controllers around and replaced cat5 cables so far with no different results.  Using the test function on the falcon everything runs correctly.  Using the test function in xlights it randomly blinks all channels but seems to be controller specific (all channels on each controller blink at same time, but controllers are random from each other).  I've got to be missing something.  If someone could point me in the right direction of my mistake I would really appreciate it.  Thanks in advance.

update:  Upon further testing it seems that was wrong before.  All the controllers (lights/channels) are blinking randomly, but in unison.

still confused  lol

It could be a channel overlap in xlights causing the issue. Under the tools there is a check sequence thing. Run that and see if you have props or universes with conflicting channels.

Todd

Did you turn the test off on the controller before you used the Xlights test?

I hadn't thought of the overlapping. I'll check for that.  And yes, I turned off the controller test before using the xlights test.

Post some of your set up screen shots so we can see what might be going on.

Ok I got it.  I still don't know exactly what happened. I tried the ole reboot out of desperation and everything's working perfectly now.  Could lor have still had a "hand in the game" even tho I unloaded it and rebooting took care of it?  Thank you so much for your help!
