Configuring a ESP8266 (on a Relay board)

I was given a new, still in anti-stat bag, 4 Relay board. It has an ESP8266 wireless module on it. I think it came from ICStation and it looks like their board. The instructions there are not great and it said to use some Android apps that don't seem to exist.

So, how do I give it access to my WiFi and then an IP address?

There are two push buttons on it, S1 and S2 that are apparently used but not very clear.

Any experience with these? I've ignored anything ESP8266 for years.

Don't know anything specific about your board; but, when you power the board up do you see a new Wi-Fi access point?  I would connect to it and see if a configuration page pops up. Otherwise, you may need to code your own firmware to control the board.

Well, it did pop up an Access Point and my phone would connect but it got me nowhere (yet).
192.168.4.1 and gave my phone 192.168.4.2

Thanks. The oddly written instructions point me to use an Android app, "ESPTouch_Demo" and I haven't located it yet. That is supposed to let me program in my home SSID and password.

Well, using the EasyTCP program on my Android phone, I have been able to control all 4 relays.
But, it's not through my home router. I have to switch to the AP SSID broadcast from the ESP8266 board.
Once there, using 192.168.4.1 and port 8080, I can send the proper HEX codes to Open and Close each of the 4 relays.
So, that works but I'll keep poking.

There is an "S1" button on the board that is supposed to allow me to program in my home SSID/Pwd but it seems to have no effect. No change when pressed.
