Remote Receiver Port Quits Working After One Sequence

I have a K8 that has a single remote receiver and port 1 on the remote receiver works in test mode and works for one song and then stops working, if I unplug the remote receiver and plug it back in the thing comes back to life for a single song.  What could be going on?

I have power injected twice on the string of 350 12v pixels and my other three ports work just fine with 296, 200 and 295 pixels

Do you have the remotes termination set to on?

I gave up fighting it and switched it over to a K8 - never figured out the root issue
