Fired up a BBB w/ FPP 1.5 via eMMC.  I don't have any output on the microHDMI output.  I have a microHDMI to HDMI cable (cheap one from Amazon).  Should I see anything as far as boot sequence?  The BBB/FPP works since I'm able to connect it to a linux laptop via USB and can get to FPP web app and ssh into the device.

I was just expecting to see a boot sequence and login prompt on the HDMI output.  Am I incorrect?

The HDMI output on the BBB is disabled on the FPP images because the main reason to use a BBB is to use the F16-B or the Octoscroller and both of these conflict with the onboard HDMI output since these outputs need to use all the GPIO pins.  I have an item on my ToDo list to look at creating neutered versions of the F16-B and Octoscroller PRU code which would allow us to leave the HDMI output enabled, but that is currently a low priority.  If this were possible, it would probably limit the F16-B to 16 outputs instead of 48 and the Octoscroller could be limited to 4 outputs which probably wouldn't make sense.  If that was the case for the Octoscroller, then you may as well use a Pi w/ matrix adapter instead of BBB since the Pi can support 36 LED panels at a faster refresh rate.

Thanks for the confirmation of what I was seeing.
