Im looking to take input from users from their phones that will display on a window. My father's Christmas display had rows and rows of wood stockings with family and friends' names on them. I want to create a digital version with projection mapping or a matrix that would do the same.

A family friend would drive up and input the names of their family, and it would display. (Only for friends as I do not want FU on the side of my house)

Have you seen solutions for something like this?
Thanks

greg

I remember watching a video from Keith a few years ago I think this is it

see if this helps

With FPP6/7, it wouldn't be that hard to do.   You would create a "SubModel" of the pixeloverlaymodel for the virtual matrix for each name location you want to display.    Then you can use the Overlay Text command to stick a string on each of the submodels.   A script could do it fairly easily.
