FM Transmitter – Si4713

Just built my first K16A-B. I am "sort-a" new at this stuff, but been running a show off of a Lights and Sounds of Christmas for ~20 years. Anyway...I bought the FM transmitter when I purchased the build kit. It says to solder a 32" wire to the FM transmitter, but here are my questions...I hope someone out there can help:
1. should this be bare copper wire or insulated?
2. What gage? I assume small, like 22 AWG but I can't find a referrence
3. Where does the wire go? Does it stay in the enclosure or does it get wired outside the enclosure?
4. I read on some posts that having it with the controller (and the power supplies powering the controller) it introduces too much interference. Is this still a good way to push sound?

I am not trying to get too ambitious in my first year with the Kulp, but people are used to driving by my house and hearing the music with their windows down. My intent is to have a "tune to" sign and a couple speakers for those who are walking by (or just don't want to listen through their car radio).

Any and all guidance is greatly appreciated.

1) From an RF standpoint, it does not matter.  Insulated would be better to avoid any oopses.
2) Should not really matter.  Smaller (within reason) makes it easier to handle.
3) As reasonably straight as possible.
4) It's possible.  In my case the transmitter is about 5 feet from the nearest controller (an F4v3), and over 100 feet from the computer running the show.

This usually only applies to the "high" powered FM transmitters that are cheaply built. The Si4713 does not fall into that category.

I used some doorbell wire that was in my junk stash.  It was two wires, but I just connected one.  Don't overthink stuff.  In 20 years in this hobby the best and quickest way is often to "just try it".
