Did you set the sound from the video as the source of music? Find sequence settings and check the media.

There is some chatter about changing the music parameters.
Try wave file, 16 bits per sample, 44.1kHz sample rate, stereo channels
Does that change it?

Have you rendered your sequences before playing?

I'm asking because after upgrading from 6 to 7.1, FPP is very slow and unresponsive. I did a complete re-image. Even before I start configuring, it takes 30 seconds to 2 minutes for any of the webpages to load. I don't have any 4s around, but I do have a Zero W, and I experienced the same thing on that. All I've done is download the zipped 7.1 image and imaged it onto the Pi SD card.

This year I've noticed that when I play last years sequences the model elements on the PC screen are a beat behind the music.  Is there a way to re-sync the music and models without manually moving each?

I deleted the video from the matrix.   Then added the picture to the matrix.   Sound from video plays during picture

Did you delete the file with the audio, not the sequence there is no audio in the sequence file itself.

I placed a video on my matrix and it worked perfectly

I decided to use a picture instead so I deleted the video and added the picture to the matrix.  However I still get the audio from the original video.   How do I remove the audio?

If you have exposed Cat5e/6/7, you should consider sealing the connections to keep water out.
