Have a new K8-PB I just put together for my neighbor, I plug in my usb hub with ethernet from my F8-B and fire it up. The board boots and displays no network it's like the USB port is getting power or something. Did I miss a step since it has been a couple years since I last setup a new Kulp board? Thought maybe it was a power issue to I switched out the wire to 12ga from PSU to K8-PB board but that didn't change anything.

UPDATE:
I was able to isolate it to the cape. I can use a micro usb cable and boot the pocket beagle and connect to FPP.  Seems like the USB on the cape isn't getting powered up.

I have isolated this on two Capes this year.  Have 4 of the 40PBs.  Not sure if it is the hubs causing the component fail, but also have the F8-B and have had no issues with those.  Sure would be nice to know what is causing this failure on multiple boards and if there is a resolution.  never tethered and used the same USB hub and wifi adapter as I am using on the ones that work.

I'm having the same issue with a couple of new K40D-PB's.  I believe that I have also isolated the issue to the K40D boards (not the PB).  One of my K40's will connect via eth0 as expected, but when I plug in the recommended USB wireless antenna, it knocks the entire network offline on the controller and I have to unplug the wireless and reboot.  On my second K40D, I can't get the eth0 network to register at all.  Really at a loss as to what to try next.  The USB hub, wireless antenna and network cable all perform perfectly when hooked into my spare K8-B.

@dkulp , Is there's a process for sending in my boards for further analysis and repair if necessary?
