Falcon Player (FPP) / FPP 7.3 sound blaster issue

Hi, it seems like every few times we reboot or restart our main show FPP it defaults back to the built in sound card on our pi 4 instead of using the sound blaster.  We had someone ask tonight why the radio was not working and we checked and it changed again back to the built in.  Anyone else seeing this?  We are running 7.3.2 on this controller.  Thanks

The channel tester in FPP will only show correct colors if the channel numbers are aligned properly based on the start channel set on the test page.  You can try turning on only a single model or manually setting the start/end channels for the model in the channel tester and it might work.  The channel tester sets RGB starting at channel 1 (or whatever the start channel is set to) so if your model starts on channel 5 and FPP channel tester thinks that is green then your colors will be off.  That won't affect playing a sequence.

7.3.1 has a lot of issues.  Go into HELP/ABOUT and run the upgrade to get to 7.3.5 and see if it improves.

Apologies ahead of time for this one.  I'll try to explain.  I have several ports that run a hue of blue, for an effect.  When I run my sequence, it comes on as red?  When I test directly through xlights, it works as it should.  When I run the sequence directly from FPP (Rasp Pi 3 B+), the blue shows red.  

Testing FPP, color sequence in a test cycle pattern of R-G-B [ALL-none] displays G-B-R
When running test ramps or color wash on F16v3, colors are correct.

Through x-lights I have uploaded the models via FPP connect; validated my ports/colors are correct for my pixels (every single one is RGB).

Now to be fair - I was running a previous code train from last year and I did the download/upgrade FPPOS through the about option...so could this be in part of my upgrade method?

The network setup usually has two Interface names in the box. Click on each to see how you have them setup. The "eth0" interface is the wired interface and the wlan0 is wireless. Besides watching the video and reading the manual, once you understand the linux lingo, you should be able to set up the wireless. When you click on wlan0, you will see that you have connection properties. These would be your home network credentials usually. You can let it default to dhcp if you home network is different subnet from your show network.

Zoom room would help pretty fast to set it up but you would need to get on the internet from your show computer so they could help you with the FPP config.

Where did you get your remote Token from?
There are many times that once you enter the Remote Token and press enter that you have to do a complete power cycle.

Hello,
This is my first time configuring the Remote Falcon Plugin and I'm getting both of the following errors:
Remote Token has not been entered.
Remote Playlist has not been synced.

My FPP version is 7.3 and I installed the plugin directly from FPP, the version is 1.0.6.
I'm double-checking to make sure the token does not have any blank spaces before or after. 

Any thoughts? Ideas?

An Excel doc would not be a good choice, that is designed for spreadsheet data, a text editor would be better, but you can do it from the Layout page much easier...Select the models and then right click and Bulk edit change brightness.
