I purchased PiCap V2 to take advantage of 4 ports.  PiCap V1 was working with my leaping arches.  I also upgraded to FPP 8.4.  I am running on a Raspberry Pi 3a.  When I attempt to test pixels, I get not lights.  I will include a screenshot of FPP and the PiCap V2.  I don't know if there is a manual, if there is, can someone point me to it.  I just need help determining while the pixels don't light.
Thanks

I don't see any screenshots.  Did you configure the output in xLights or manually via the FPP web UI?

I did manually configure via the FPP web UI.  I did attach screenshot and don't know why they don't show.  I may not have the needed rights since I am new.

Do you think I will have better success with xlights?

Sorry I took to long to reply.  I am still getting familiar with this tool.

Thanks for the reply.

Here are the attachments.  Hopefully they show up.

I went into xlights.  Updated configuration on my fpp for my unit with the PiCap V2.  I believe the configuration looks ok and attempted the test, but no lights yet.  I will attach screenshots of xlights.  I hope that will help understand my current status. You cannot view this attachment.

How are you supplying power to the PiCap V2?
In one of your photos, it looks like the raspberry pi is connected to a micro USB cable at its power input. Why don't you just power your pixels and RPi from the PiCap V2?
Have you verified you are outputting correct voltage at your power supply?
You should also update your FPP to the latest version.

Thanks for the reply!
-  "connected to a micro USB cable at its power input" - I thought about it and will try to see if the makes a difference.
-  "verified you are outputting correct voltage at your power supply." Have not and I will do that.  Since it was ok with V1, I didn't think I needed to do that.  I will.
-  "update your FPP to the latest version."  I just install FPP v 8.4.  I think that is the latest.

Thanks again

According to your screenshot you do NOT have anything assigned to any ports. If you uploaded this configuration, then there is nothing for the ports to output.
The best and quickest way to get help and to be up and running is through the Zoom Room.

Checked the input voltage and it is 3.9V.  I have ordered a replacement power supply.  This is probably why I had issues getting power from PiCap ti Pi didn't work.

Thanks for the input!
Tom

Thanks for the input on "you do NOT have anything assigned to any ports" I will check this out.

To fix the port assignment, go to layout and create a model. Then in the visualizer, drag the model over to the port on the controller. Upload the config.

Purchased and installed a new power supply.  It is outputing 4.9V.  Now my lights are working and I am providing power to Pi from PiCap V2.
Thanks for all the help!  The prior installation with PiCap V1, was working but had some issues.  The voltage issue was causing issues with that too.
Thanks again!
