I have 2 falcon controllers, the F16V4 and the F16V5 both running in Player mode,  and neither of them can open any new fseq files. I just updated their builds so there up to date, and installed the most recent version of xLights. All of my fseq files from last year work, but none that I generate now do. I'm moving the files with a Micro SD and am lighting a correctly configured matrix. Any ideas. Neither controller can open them.

Are they on your network? can you run fpp connect to upload the sequences to the sd card - that way it can be sure to send the right format etc.

Check what the specifications of the F16's are with respect to FSEQ files. Xlights defaults to V2 ZSTD these days I think and it's possible that the F16's require V1. The setting is under file>preferences>sequences

@AAH The correct answer is to use fpp connect to upload the sequences, otherwise you can end up with unsuitable FSEQs regardless of how you set this setting

I joined the xLights zoom room and was able to find help for the fseq issue. I had an incorrect export format, so the file was unable to be opened. However, I have not ever used FPP Connect is there any setup required? If someone could write a brief explanation on how to use it that would be wonderful.
