Can anyone state definitely what the maximum operating temperatures are for the F16V3?
I've searched everywhere and can't find it.

When I installed mine in the enclosure the temp readings are crazy hot (124F) on the processor. It's 109F when in open air.

Don't have a max temp answer, however ventilating the enclosure would likely go a long way in keeping components happier.

Typically, components are rated 80 degrees C (176 F), and the few that aren't 80 would be 60 C (140 F) minimum......so 127F is ok.  However, at 127F I personally would vent.

Now that we covered the controller, what about your wire. Some is only 40 C rated and that's only 104F.

Thanks for your insight - venting in progress

After many hours of testing  I found this was the best vent configuration and resulted in processor temp of 115f after five hours.
Two one inch pvc elbows allow hot air to escape while keeping it water tight.

You would likely be better with one vent near the top and one near the bottom.  That way, cooler outside air comes in the bottom, heats up and rises, and leaves via the upper vent.  I have also used PVC elbows as vents.  Another suggestion is to put a screen on each vent.  Reduces bugs getting inside the box.
Using LOR (mostly SuperStar) for all sequencing - using FPP only to drive P5 and P10 panels.
