xLights 2022.23 Help

Downloaded 2022.23 when launched couldn't find RGBeffects file so it created a default one and appears to have created a backup of the original RGBeffects file.  Layout tab is now blank.  Uninstalled .23 and reinstalled .22. Still can't find the file. How do I get it see the backup RGBeffects file?  EDIT: Fixed it by copying the file from the backup folder.  Not sure if there's an issue with .23, going to wait and see.

I think there is an issue with 2022.23 because I had the exact same problem. I panicked cause I thought I lost everything. What I did was uninstall version 2022.23 and reinstall the last version I was on which was 2022.21. Then everything worked fine again. It was weird because right when I installed 2022.23, everything was working ok, but Chinese letters were randomly appearing next to different effect settings. So I closed and re-opened xlights and that's when the RGB effects file disappeared. Is there any way we can spread the word about this and have the xlights team take the update down?

Ver 2022.23 has been Pull off line from down load list.....

My version 2022.22 install just asked to update to 2022.23

I did not. Will wait for 2022.24 (maybe)
