Hello All - I am a newbie trying to get a simple sequence to output to a WLED controller that has 90 pixels.  I run the schedule at various times during the day just to do some testing, and the sequence works perfectly fine and loops until I have the schedule end.  After the schedule has completed, at various times (sometimes 30 minutes, 1 hour, etc) later, pixels 2-5 will come on and stay on until I go into WLED, turn on the lights and then off again or the schedule starts playing again.  Sometimes its just 1 pixel, then an hour later another pixel (or two) will come on, but it seems to cap it at 5 pixels that come on.  I have tried all sorts of things with the latest attempt being "Blank between sequences" setting in FPP Settings - Playback.  I am running this version of FPP on in a docker container - v8.x-master-696-gaf51b973 (master branch).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
Jim

Sounds like it is random data getting into the data line.
Check your connections.
Make grounds are connected at wled/pixels and your power supply.

To verify that it is not FPP, you can wireshark the connection between fpp and WLED to make sure that the data is not being sent from FPP.

I've changed around the connections several times, grounds go from power supply to ESP board and from power supply to the beginning of the pixels.  Connections are made using the 3pin connectors and wago connectors, and they seem tight.  no issues / flickering during sequence, WLED can change colors / effects smoothly.  Wireshark is not showing me anything useful between the FPP host and the wled controller.  I am trying a preset on wled to turn all pixels black (off) but that seems rather hackish.
