currently I am using DIY pixel net hubs to power/data my micro controllers.  To keep using more micro controllers I will soon need new hubs. What is being used instead of DIY hubs now?

Besides the DLA hubs, there is a Falcon Hub, but in either case you need to look for used ones as there has not been a coop for either one of them for a couple of years.  That being said, they still work great.

I have some old DLA hubs if you need them...sitting..in boxes :-)

I like the hub idea but I suspect others are changing over to just F16 hardware.
I'm guessing we can have a good distance from controller to first node using newer F16 hardware without issue and that is why the hub idea isn't needed now.
Without new hubs coming into being, is the micro controller being phased out as well?

Duane, I still have a good number of unused micro controllers and. Was thinking of using them.  Might be interested in at least one hub.  Active type preferred.

Corey just had a coop on his uSC controllers (the heir apparent to the SSC from DLA).
But demand is definitely dwindling as distances to "first pixel" get better. The "Transmit and Receive" boards now used by Falcon (and others) makes distance a non-problem.

Seems like we're moving away from this concept and I think it's mainly to do with these being pixelnet and not E1.31.  If you plan to stay under the PN limit 16k this is perfect.

I hope David considers doing some sort of smart hub.  Like a F16v3 with only transmit ports so we could use the 4 port receivers.
