Recently purchased a Falcon Pi Cap to integrate DMX lights into a firework show. I had some issues initially getting the DMX light to connect, however I quickly realized that the RJ45 to DMX was wired incorrectly. After solving this issue the light worked fine for a couple days. However after putting the project aside for a week, I am back to the beginning and unable to get the DMX light to connect to the Cap. Lights connected to the two string ports 1 & 2 work without issue.

Troubleshooting Steps:
Power pi and cap from same 12v power supply.
Power Pi and cap separtley
Reinstalled FPP version 7.5
Downgraded to  FPP Version 6.3

Connected the same adapter and light to my F16v3 and the light works without issue.

The PAR light display will flash when the DMX link is down or not connected. When DMX is working it will show the address and then go to sleep.

Can you share screenshots of your xlights (presumably) visualiser for the PiCap, the prop setup page and also the FPP inputs page.

I would bet that the DMX communications chip on the hat has failed.  That happened to me and I had no idea why my DMX would not work from my PI.  I was fortunate enough at the time to be able to connect my DMX devices to my F48's DMX port.  It took me a while to determine what the cause probably was and to test it, I swapped the communications chip from another PI hat and like magic, it started working again.  Perhaps someone can post that chip number so those of us with bad ones can replace them.
