Built In FM modular

So I have 2 songs to be played this year. I am using a PC in my garage running the Xlights scheduler. When I play the sequences I have 1 song that plays great through the FM and the other song sounded terrible, lots of static. I "assumed" it was because it was a WAV. file. So I converted it to a MP3 file. saved it to the FPP file manager Audio. now I don't hear the 2nd song at all. Any suggestions?
Because the sequence was built with the WAV file does that have to match up with the Audio file?

Did you update the new file with the exact same name as the old one - save the extension?

are far as I can tell yes. With of course the MP3 vs WAV

Open the sequence in notepad. Search for .wav. Got anything?
Search the .fseq in notepad for your .mp3 or .wav. Got anything?

I find WAV on both. nothing for mp3. I loaded the MP3 version to the audio file.

UPDATE: I was able to get on with the Xlights Zoom room. What I needed to do was go to sequence set-up and change the WAV file that it was using to the MP3 file.
