Note the "re"

I am not happy with the black snow fence mesh. :(

It is not staying straight, level or any desirable dimension. :( :(

So, before I spend any more time wasting tie wraps, I'll be switching to a more conventional board type surface.

I want it to be weather resistant but at this point (Academy is only 7 days away), that isn't the big issue. No other parameters will change, so I haven't lost much time or money. :)

Plus, it will go onto a board MUCH easier than the snow fence mesh. :) :)

One more beer and back to work!

are you committed to use strips or indv nodes?

I found some slide together 2'x4' black plastic pegboard panels on Amazon, you can join them unlimited in either direction, but you would have to use indv pixels instead of strips...

Just a thought

Sorry to hear it didn't work for you.

Time for plan B.  Nothing like a deadline to really motivate you to get it done.

At this point, it is strips only. I really wanted their 30 LED/meter spacing. Fairly tight. (33mm???)

Because I am switching NOW instead of when I had virtually all the strip on, I'll probably save time.
What I'll lose is "storage" space, maybe. It is still going to fold in half.

Hi Jon;

for the academy i will be using 30 ten foot 1/2" plastic emt. They are $1.67 for 10'
I will attach them to a frame of 2x4's. Would you like Dave and I to make you a horizontal frame? I could pick up more pipe on thurs.

I could make your frame 8' high and 16' wide and attach the 32 flex strips to them. I plan on returning most of the pv emt since i will not have screwed or modified them.
Here is the 2x4 frame i will attach all my flex strips to.

Just let me know if you want me to construct one for you at the academy.

thanks

Sean, I'll be good to go. I've already got what I need and will have a frame for it. (the same hanging frame would have worked for both designs. Thanks, though.

If your length is 120 pixels, that is 4 meters (13+ feet) on 10 ft PVC. Are you adding 3 feet with a coupler?

yes, i am cutting 10 of the emt in half. so 20 will be pristine, but 10 will not be able to be returned. This emt pipe already has the coupler in the end (no need for any other couplers).

thanks
