Need some help.. Last night Kulp K4-PB was working via wifi, although show was quite laggy.

Today I picked up an ethernet adapter and swapped it out.  When I connect K4-PB to PC via USB and have ethernet plugged in, the adapter gets an IP address.

I configure it, then unplug USB(which powers down k4-PB), and then plug back in via main power cord.

K4-PB boots up, but will not get a network connection.  Nothing changed except the power source.

Tried plugging in the  wifi adapter again to at least get show up, but now that won't get an IP address either.  I just dont get it.  Power direct to pocket beagle via usb ethernet works... power to pocketbeagle thru the kulp and no network.  The  OLED lights up either way so I know there is power getting to the beagle.  any help appreciated!  so frustrating.

Ahh foolish me.  Daniel Kulp contacted me very quickly and let me know I was not supposed to hook up power to the usb only on the beagle as that nukes the K4 board.  He let me know there was a warning on the board when I got it which I vaguely remember but totally forgot.

He got me a replacement insanely fast and sure enough I swapped the pocket beagle onto the new K4 board and it works like a champ!

Great customer service and for my first year using Kulp Boards (K8-B, K8-PB, and K4-PB), I'm quite impressed.

Hope this helps anyone else to avoid powering the board from USB only as that's not gonna end well.
