uploading xlights fseq to FPP

Hello, 

When I upload a sequence into Falcon player a suffix .patch.0 is append to mp3 and fseq files. I manually remove the suffix and then I can add them to a playlist.  I am using xlights and FPP connect to upload the files. 
I do not know how I got into this state. How do I prevent patch.0 suffix from being appended?
I am using FPP 6.3.2.2, Xlights 2023.20, fseq type V2.

This usually indicates an incomplete upload.

I manually remove the suffix and then I can add them to a playlist. 

But doing that, it probably won't play correctly since the file is likely corrupted.

How do I prevent patch.0 suffix from being appended?

Upgrade as suggested and try to upload again.

Update to xLights 2023.22 will likely help.

xlights 2023.20 is latest published release.  Is that a typo or are you suggesting a nightly build might resolve problem?

There have been a ton of FPP Connect changes this year.  Had dkulp not responded what he did, I would have suggested that you either upgrade to FPP 7.4, or downgrade xlights to 2022.26. (https://github.com/smeighan/xLights/releases/download/2022.26/xLights64_2022_26.exe)  As a temporary workaround you should be able to use FPP File Manager to manually upload the file to FPP.  There were a lot FPP Connect 0.patch issues this spring/summer that 7.4 has resolved.

xLights 2023.22 has been out for a week or so.   The website is completely broken and cannot be updated.

You can get xlights 22 by going to xlights.org/downloads  then scroll down til you find any release you want.
