Hi,

There's already a few messages on this board about this issue, but I wanted to document my experiences.

I think there must be a bug with the ethernet in the F48-NS, as I was having connectivity issues over ethernet.

When I first connected to my network, the board wouldn't get an IP address over DHCP, and it just displayed 0.0.0.0 on the OLED, but interestingly, it did say it was receiving e1.31 from my Madrix PC, and it even displayed the IP of the PC on the top status line of the OLED.

Setting the IP to static only changed the OLED display, but didn't add any functionality; I couldn't reach the device at the IP with the browser. I tried swapping ethernet cables, and still nothing changed.

It wasn't until I read some other posts on here about switches that I plugged into a different device, and then it worked.

So with a small NetGear FS105 10/100 switch it doesn't work, but with a D-link 16 port gigabit switch it works, as well as through a TPlink gigabit switch. I have two F48-NS units, and if I connect them both to the gigabit switch, they both work normally, displaying the DHCP address and are reachable over http, however if I unplug the ethernet and connect them to the Netgear 10/100 switch,  it doesn't work. and the IP address just displays 0.0.0.0.

Cheers,

Nathan
