Can the I connect the spade type connectors that come with my P5 panels directly to the F8 Distro board?

Likely not, unless they are pretty small spade lugs.  If the spade lugs are too large, you have three options.  1)  Cut one side of the spade lug off and clamp the other side into the F8 Distro board.  2)  Cut both sides of the spade lug off (leaving only the part crimped over the wire) and clamp that into the F8 distro board.  3)  Cut the entire spade lug off , strip the end off the wire and clamp that into the F8 distro board.  My recommendation would be use option 2 as that leaves the original crimp acting like a ferrule so that you don't get stray wires floating around.  If you do go with option 3, I would recommend putting a ferrule on it so that you don't get stray strands of wire floating around loose.
Using LOR (mostly SuperStar) for all sequencing - using FPP only to drive P5 and P10 panels.
