I have a V3 pixel controller with 1 Diff expansion board. But when I adjust ports and split out the diff board channels, I only see for example 17A,B,C and no D. The other 3 also only show ABC.
I have the current firmware for that board.

I think that is the max for the F4V3 or F16V3. Remote receivers have changed a bunch since I purchased but I do not think the V3 controllers have been upgraded.

Not that I think it is a Firmware problem but listing your firmware is better then saying it is current.

That would be my guess as well.  V3 series will only support 3 SRs, V4 series will support 6 SRs.

Funny the website says:
F16V2/F16V3 Differential Expansion Board w/ribbon cable
The new expansion boards has two 40-pin connectors.
The Differential Expansion Board connects the the F16V2 or F16V3 via 40-pin ribbon cable. Allows up to four receivers to be connected to controller.
Comes with 40-pin ribbon cable.

The board has 16 differential circuits that are accessed by four RJ-45 output connectors. This allows 16 strings to be located up to 250+ feet away from F16V2/F16V2R/F16V3 using 4 Differential Receiver Boards. Comes with 40-pin ribbon cable.

Poporacer

You are misinterpreting the statement. There are 4 RJ45 ports and this is what they are referencing as the 4 Differential Receiver Boards that it supports. If you use Smart Differential Receivers then you can get 12 receivers, 3 on each port.
If to err is human, I am more human than most people.

K-State Fan

Picture of what that is saying from the Use of expansion boards document.
This was before smart receivers so now you can chain three smart receivers to each.
If you use two expansion boards and the port on the controller you can use a total of 27 smart receivers.
