So I set up the WiFi on the F48v4 and I'm able to browse to the configuration in my browser, I can test the lights through the controller and it all looks good.

when I try to use the wifi IP on xLights, I'm unable to output to lights, however using the LAN IP works fine.

I've already upgraded to the latest firmware and was hoping to bypass FPP.

Is this possible?

Do you have the F48 configured for both Wi-Fi AND eth0 on the same subnet? That will usually cause problems.

How about some screenshots of your configurations?
If to err is human, I am more human than most people.

wifi on the f48 is limited to management access (the web page).  It will NOT accept e1.31 show data.  output to lights in xlights will not work to the wifi interface.
