Im trying to play my light show and work on sequencing other songs at the same time. I have a soundblaster that goes from computer to fm transmitter for light show. How can I listen to a sequence and work on it through another speaker that doesnt interupt light show?

Running your show from a Raspberry Pi is the go to option.

Agree with that one.  Sequencing on a computer while that computer is playing a show is asking for trouble.  The software may well handle the two tasks fine (I know the LOR software will - don't know about any other), but audio routing is going to be the issue.  Getting the sequence being edited and the show playing to route audio to different sound outputs could be a challenge.

Personally I have always done my primary sequencing on my family room computer, and my show runs from either a dedicated PC or my file server.  All the light show files are stored on the file server.  Once in a great while I have been known to edit a sequence on the the computer playing shows, but not at the same time as a show was playing.
Using LOR (mostly SuperStar) for all sequencing - using FPP only to drive P5 and P10 panels.

A Pi is a cheap solution to your problem.  And it frees up the computer to be used for lots of other tasks while a show is playing.  There is no need to buy the biggest or latest Pi either.  A Pi3B+ with 1GB of memory is more than adequate to play a large show.
