Adding Labels to Timing Tracks

Been watching tutorials on timing tracks. Using the hotkey "T" you can add points on the track to designate a section. However, tutorials then say to double-click on the line to add a label. This does not work for me. When I double click on the line it plays the audio within that segment.

Is there another way to add labels to segments created on timing tracks?

Actually just solved my own question. I am using a mac, in order to add a label it was "shit+left click".
