Seems like a lot of interest in incorporating projected video into the blinky world.  PD is a great choice as a video editor to help you accomplish this.  Many members here have it.  Let's use this thread so we can help each other with questions, tips, bugs, etc.

BUG!  If you detach the preview module and resize it on a second monitor as I do, re-attach the module before you "Produce" your video; otherwise when you go back to "Edit" PD may stop responding; I have had this occur several times, but it could be due to my wonky setup running bootcamp W7Pro on a MacPro.  If it happens, just close PD via Taskmanager; when you re-open PD, it will recover your working project

BUG! If and when you use snapshot, a box pops up asking you to confirm the filename; there is a checkbox there also you can check to NOT ask again; DO NOT CHECK THAT BOX! it kills the snapshot function.  If you accidentally check this box, it can be re-enabled in options/confirmation/always prompt me to confirm captured snapshot file name

Looks good. I already have Corel video studio pro x6. They do the same thing other than the price, I got it on sale for $2.39   .. I'm glad this is taking of well here.

How long was the Render time to finished video file for that 5 minute segment?

The movie had 40 clips in 11 layers...rendered to HD in around 3 1/2 minutes

Impressive. Would have been over 10 in premiere elements.
