Hello, on the Player -> Schedules page, a couple of suggestions:

  • Add an option for a program to begin every ___ minutes.  (for example, if you have a 20 minute show, but you want it to restart every 30 mintues)
  • Add an option for daily repeat based on odd/even days (we have two shows and it would be nice to alternate them on odd/even days)

Thanks for considering these enhancements

Assuming you are referring to FPP?

There is a repeat option to delay the next time it plays.  You should also be able to create a blank sequence as filler between shows.

This option already exists.  It is called "Odd" and "Even" playlist

There already is, if you set the Repeat interval to 30 minutes, it will play the sequence once and then 30 minutes after your start time, it will start over. But with that being said, having "dead" air is typically not a good idea in my opinion. If I show up to a house and there is nothing playing, I assume that it is broke or not playing that day so I move on since my time is important and want to see more displays. But it is your show and run it the way you feel is best.

It already exists but be aware that it isn't odd/even calendar days since in doing so would create back-to-back playlists at the end of most months.
If to err is human, I am more human than most people.

If you do not schedule your show to continually repeat you will have a lot of disappointed viewers.  It is impossible to control when viewers arrive (and leave).  When nothing is playing they just drive on by.  If they arrive 5 min before the end of a show and only see 5 min they begin to wonder why you only did such a short show.  Put yourself in the viewers seat and not yours.
