Absolutely new to this so thanks ahead of time for the help.

Just built my first controller, a Kulp K16.  I believe I have it all set up correctly.  It's powered up, booted up, and I can access FPP through my web browser no problem.  My issue is that I cannot get any lights from any of the ports to work.  I "uploaded output" from xlights and enabled "input" on fpp.  When using the built in test function the LED screen shows it's in test mode, but nothing.  Same if testing from fpp.  All ports are testing at 11.9v, so i'm thinking it's a data line problem.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If it's a new K16 with eFuses, you NEED to be running FPP 7.5.   FPP 6.x has no idea how to turn on the eFuses.

Big thanks to everyone on the Zoom Room.  It turns out that the FPP and OS that came preloaded with my controller was not compatible with the E-Fuse Kulp boards.  Updated both and good to go.

The preloaded FPP that shipped with the new K16 was not compatible with that K16?    Is that a problem that exists now?

If we run it remote off of an old K32, do we have to update the K32 FPP as well?

IMHO you should always be updating in any case. At the very least at least check for updates and see if it contains a fix you need or a feature you want.
