sound blaster disappeared

SB3, seemed to work fine in all my tests.  Moved it outside and it is no longer there, the only audio is the davinci thing.  SB connects to my pc (as a test).  Version info attached. 

This BBB has no cape, it is is only running the scheduler and the audio.  Ideas?  TIA.

Update.  If  leave the power off for a while it comes back.

In audio settings, do you have SB3 selected as audio output?

If you have another SD card, try flashing FPP again and see if you still have the issue.

Try a new audio cable.

Do it work again when you go inside???

In the settings is where it disappears.  If I leave the power off a bit and restart it it will come back.   If I make a change that requires a reboot it goes away.  It just goes away on this list.  I have it working for the moment......  I think it started when I did the upgrade last week.

On the System tab in settings, try adding a 15 second or 30 second boot delay.   The Sound blaster is notorious for taking forever to initialize.

Lost power yesterday.  Lights all work. Soundblaster won't come back.  Works on pc. Boot delay is 1 minute. Powered off on dozen times. Reboot as many.  Its just not showing up.

Do you have an FM Transmitter nearby? Many FM Transmitters cause interference with the USB port.
