Would it be better to power inject with an f8 or by using inline fuse wire? I don't want to just run a wire from the psu I would feel much safer using one of these options.

Either option will work, the best option is the one that you like best!

Get one of the many fused power distribution boards.  Falcon has one.

If you are only injecting once and would need only 1 fuse than either works but inline is cheaper.  If you get a power distribution board then any of the Xmas specific versions are often cheaper than other commercial options.  You can get fuse blocks on amazon and other automotive places as well but they often cost more and require spade connections and not screw terminals.  Of course their are many options available.

Yeah I plan to only inject once keeping my strings no more than 200 12v pixels a line. It's the main reason I chose to go with the f48 and recievers boards. I know in the long run it might cost more becuase i have to buy extra psus and storage boxes and etc but I feel for some odd reason this route is better for my landscape. If I can get 12 recievers at 200 pixels a port that keeps me at 9600 pixels in the next few years. Which is way more than I need I believe.

I have a few runs of 200 12v pixels.  I run them at less than 40% (or less) intensity on the controller with a 5A fuse feeding only the start of the string (no power injection)
