Can EDM be added to the Available Plug ins for 8.0?

I notice on the testing page for 8.0 plugins that dkuntz had tested the EDM plugin for 8.0 and it worked. Is it possible to move this plugin to the Available List?

Look towards the bottom of the plug-ins.  It is still listed in the "Plugins not tested with this FPP version" section.  You can still install it from there.  Several have suggested it was working for them.

I am not sure they are supporting this plug-in anymore?  I have an EDM RDS board, but the plug-in has not worked for me since I started using Remote Falcon.  Anytime I interrupt the normal FPP playlist it plays 3-5 seconds of the lights, and then starts over with sound.  Example, if I interrupt with a "Please don't block the neighbor's driveway" warning, or if an end user votes in Remote Falcon for a song to play.

You're welcome to wait, but I would not hold your breath for someone to update it.   Others have posted it was working for them, but I no longer use it personally.

Thanks, this will be my first year using Remote Falcon so I guess I'll not be using the EDM any more as well. Visitors can always see what is playing on Remote Falcon.

I just changed the RDS to display our website url instead.  I actually prefer that anyway and have not tried to use the plug-in in several years now.  It might be worth a try to install yet.  Don't think the EDM plug-in has been updated for a long time, but that was several FPP versions ago.  FPP updates could have resolved by now.  If you notice the glitch all it takes to resolve is to uninstall the EDM plug-in and everything goes back to normal.
