F4v3 Controller

HI all,
Can you run a F4V3 with Diff and receiver plus DMX? If so what configurations do I need to do on the F4?

Yes you can but to do that you need to obtain and install a differential expansion board then you can connect up to two diff receivers to it and then use the built in serial output port for DMX.  Configurations are explained in the manual.

What wiring diagram are you using for your DMX device?
Take a look at the manual - Tables 3-1 and 3-2 about information as to how to physically connect from the F4V3 and the DMX device. (Page 13.) (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1CZ1rDMsKNkaTfZemvHUTL8JH9NVjtndyzC0qlMYAOz4/edit)

One thing to note here - the settings marked as "DMX" and "LOR" on the F4V3 are for the PHYSICAL wiring.  Not the protocol.

I use DMX lights meant for stage work.  My RJ45 is wired as pin1 - white/orange, pin2 - orange (solid), pin 7- white/brown.  (Note that this is "Ground" and can be to either pin7 or pin8.  Some connect both.)

Thank you, I have the pins set to LOR- I am running com cable to LOR controller from the F4v3. I have not looked into the wiring but I do know my RJ45s are wired the same on both ends
