I have a F16v4 and use 2 expansion boards to connect 8 smart receivers (none of them are daisy-chained).  All 8 SRs have been v 2.01.  One of these SRs died so I replaced it with a v5.00 SR.  Any tips on getting this to work?  I can't find any documentation.  When I hit the test button, all my lights work.  But I can't send a test signal through the F16v4 web site and no E1.31 data I send seems to get to the SR.  I have tried all the different roller settings.  Any help would be appreciated.  I have read about termination switches but can't find any dip switches on this board.

Thanks!

The Smart Receivers (SRs) are typically sent out in normal mode and terminated.  If you only have the one SR plugged in, it would need to be terminated.  I do not have any v5 series devices and can't give you any specific suggestions.  There typically is a legend printed on the back of the SR on how to configure.  I have had issues in the past when I could not get the SR to work in normal mode and had to use it Smart Mode.  Also, you can't trust the test function completely.  They are a great tool in the box, but there are known issues when testing does not work correctly.

UPDATE: The specs may imply there are not any physical termination switches on the v5 SRs, but not sure what that means.

The v5 doesn't have switches to terminate.  I'm assuming it's build in to the firmware.  You need to make sure the receiver has the most updated firmware.
