Programming problems (SOLVED!)

I have a working F16 v1.0 board, it had last year's firmware and ran my sequences last year without issue.
I've been running the self-test on this board for a few days to burn in (verify) my lights.

I decided to update the firmware.  First made a mistake and loaded the latest F8 firmware, then loaded the latest F16 firmware (v1.02).
Test mode works.

I've tried to assign channels using the Falcon Controller Software v1.2.2 and I'm having no luck... no flash, or any observable behavior.  The led labeled "Pixelnet" next to the ICSP header flashes after powerup, but not when I send the program, nor when I send test data via xlights.

I'm using a EtD with standard firmware (universes 1-32) that works fine with uSC and other controllers.
There is a direct connection between the EtD output and the F16 pixelnet input.

Can you review the pic and screenshot to verify that I'm not mismatching something?

 Steve,
I maybe wrong but I thinking the EtD output is only is multicast and not unicast output.

This is actually quite humerus. I reversed the id jumper settings per your request on this version. So... your jumpers or backwards now. Look at the image of jumper settings in the controller setup. :)

That is true, but that multicast communication is only between the computer/xlights and the EtD.
Coming out of the EtD is four universes of pixelnet.  This EtD and Pixelnet communication works, verified with 2 Lynx Active hubs.

As long as the software knows to use EtD/multicast to communicate with the F16, it should also work.

Update:  I tried my Falcon Controller Software v1.0.1 (still installed and retaining last year's configuration).  This software did not work either with the firmware I have installed now.

LOL.  I did see that, and I recalled my request -- I was going to ask for your new software to show the ACTUAL physical layout.   So, I expected the picture reflected the new board.

So, what SHOULD I use?  I entered '5' because that is the ID I assigned before -- and I didn't change the board to match the picture.  (I can't unsee the MSB and LSB printing. :) )

I actually had the same issue last night while trying to program and was going to ask the question that David answered. So as long as the jumpers are set to the way the picture in the software looks program should work? Is this correct.

Thanks,
Roger

I am trying with Pi and FPD though.

Got it -- IT WORKED!  Use the utility as my guide, and make the board look like the utility. :)

Thanks!!

Resurrecting a 3 yr old thread is not going to help you.  Start a new thread and describe your problems in it.
