Hey folks ... I currently have a LOR CMB24D configured on a LOR network.  I'm now using a Falcon F16v3 and want to connect the CMB24D from the Falcon.  I am not able to find the precise steps I need to do in order to accomplish this successfully.  Do I need to convert the CMB24D to DMX mode or can I simply keep the current configuration and change the jumpers on the F16 to LOR for either output 2 or 3 (I know I can't use output 1).  Any tips would be appreciated.  I'm trying not to blow anything up.

I know I had to set my CMB24D to dmx when hooking it up to a Falcon PiCap.  I have not hooked it up to anything else.

Note that the ONLY thing the jumpers on the CMB-24D do is change the wiring pinout from LOR standard (pins 4 & 5) to DMX standard (pins 1 & 2)).  That does NOTHING to the card's ability to process DMX vs LOR commands.  So if all you need to do is get the Falcon to send data on the same pins that the CMB-24D is looking for data, and you are good to go with a straight cable between the Falcon and CMB-24D.  Whether that is done at the F16 or the CMB-24D does not make any difference at all.

Thanks.  I have it in DMX mode on serial output 2 from the falcon.  I'm able to get it to work in Test mode but if I run a sequence it is not outputting to the floods.  I have my Falcon on universes 101-119 and set the CMB24D to Universe 500 with 24 channels with a start channel of 10201.  I believe the dip switches used are 1 1101 1001 for DMX start 473.  In the CMB24D manual it provides dip switch positions for up to DMX 512.  Is that my issue?  Do the floods need to be within the first 512 channels?

DMX universes only have 512 channels.  So if you are using Universe 500, channels 1 - 24, you would be setting the CMB-24D to start channel 01.  How that relates to absolute addressing in FPP and/or xLights, I can't help.
