Hey All,

Can someone give me a suggestion on what type of enclosure will accommodate mounting the F16v3 and 2 expansion boards?

Thinking about adding a second expansion board to my F16v3.  The F16v3 and 2 expansion boards won't fit in a CG-1500 unless you figure out how to mount one of them in the 'lid'.  But even if you did trying to run all the port cables out to the pixels would be a tough chore as the holes in the CG-1500 are about full just using 1 expansion board.

Thanks

For my pixel tree, I have a F16v3 and one 16 port expansion board mounted in a 12 x 12 x 6 PVC electrical box.  I have plans that may include a second expansion board.  It will fit fine on one of the side walls.  For cables, there are two 1 1/2 inch PVC female conduit fittings on the bottom (no attached conduit) for the ports and a 1 inch fitting for the flex conduit to the power supplies (a few feet below the controllers), and a 3/4 inch conduit fitting for two pieces of Cat-5 (E1.31 and a temperature monitor off my environmental monitoring system).
Using LOR (mostly SuperStar) for all sequencing - using FPP only to drive P5 and P10 panels.

k6ccc.  Thanks for the response and idea.  I had come to the realization that my typical goto CableGuard boxes wouldn't do the trick.  Do you happen to remember where you found your electrical box?

Home Depot in my case, but Lowes or any other home improvement store should have them.

Thanks Jim... I wasn't thinking "That" kind of box....Go figure!  I guess I need to think "out of the box" more....Pun intended...Haha.

I have a couple of the below.  I just have a F16v4, 16 port expansion, and a 4 port Smart Receiver in normal mode for 36 ports total.  I use one for my 32 port Megatree, 2-Port Star, and tree wrap that is close by, and the other is a spare.  It was a little pricey, but I am happy with it.
