Sequence changes in xlights when I upload to FPP

Sorry for the length. Still new. This is my second year/second show using xlights and FPP. Its a small show using 2 Quin-Led Dig-Quads and 1 Quin-Led Dig-Uno that is on my roofline and used year-round. I have a Raspberry Pi and use FPP recently updated to the latest version Xlights updated as well. This year I have added a mega tree and purchased a Falcon 16V4. I have not loaded the SD card from the falcon with FPP not sure if that's the problem. (Do I use FPP for both the PI and the Falcon?) 
When I connect to FPP in xlights it finds 1 FPP with the IP address that I had originally set up with last year via the PI. 
I have configured the Falcon to run remote and mul-tisync. I have mapped out all of my sequences in xlights all the controllers have been visualized with the correct props and lights. It pretty much does it on automatically. When I upload the sequences to FPP (which is set as player) and play them using FPP the sequences are completely not right the mega tree is flickering on some strings with various brightness my 4 mini trees are doing whatever they want some lights are not coming on at all and the arches ugh I dont even want to get into that. When I return to xlights and playback the sequences to watch them in the sequences tab they are now as messed up as the playback from FPP. I have to reload my mapping and save render. Last year everything worked great without the Falcon. Please help.

FPP recently updated to the latest version Xlights updated as well

Both of these programs evolve quickly so you might NOT be on the latest version, in the future list the actual version numbers to make sure we know what version you are really on.

The Falcon controller is NOT an FPP controller. It does not need an SD card to operate.

What are you doing to "find" it? What IP is it showing?

This is probably NOT what you want to do. The Falcons in Remote mode are VERY limited. You should be running in either DDP or E1.31 mode.

Do you have all of your controllers set to Auto Layout Models, Full xLights control, and Auto Size?

When I upload the sequences to FPP

Make sure that you Render and Save (in that order) before you upload them.

I have to reload my mapping and save render.

And explain this...Screenshots will help.
I would highly recommend jumping in the Zoom Room. That is the quickest and best resource for help.

Thank you for all the info. I will be busy checking this list off one by one this evening. Looks like it might be awhile. 
You have helped tremendously. Thank you for giving me a good place to start.  I hope I can get things up and running tonight.  I will visit the zoom room if I have any further issues.
