Hi all,
New to all of this. Just getting started after a friend donated me an F16v2-R. Looking forward to my lights arriving and starting some simple sequences for this Christmas.

The temperature device (thermistor?) connected to the upper left corner of my board is damaged and I'd like to replace as here in Australia it can be very warm and knowing the internal temperature might be important.

Does anyone know the specs (resistance?) that is required for a replacement device (or indeed a second one as getting internal/external read might be handy, too)? I've had a look at the specs and can't see any information on it.

Regards,
Rod

Hi Rod,

This is the original part number that was used way back when.. you can add up to 2 of them to the board.  https://au.mouser.com/ProductDetail/NTCLE413E2103F520L?R=NTCLE413E2103F520L

Just be aware that there have been lots of posts over the years about unreliable the temps have been.

Amazing guys, thanks so much that's perfect. Thanks for the quick responses.

Can't believe I can buy the exact part still.

I've seen other posts about the inaccurate temperature measurements - I'm probably not too fussy about it, as long as it's in the rough ballpark.

Regards,
Rod

Bought the exact part linked above, and installed two of them on the board.

Both seem to work and give within a degree the same result and that result seems roughly right.

Thanks again for your help.

Rod
