TP-Link Tapo Smart Light bridge or plugin?

My company has been using the TP-Link Tapo smart bulbs as stack light replacements in a factory because they're cheap and don't need cloud access. The TP link library is in javascript but we've ported it to c# too.

What would the easiest way to use these with a christmas display? Should I write an e131 bridge or write a plugin directly into FPP?

Cannot answer your question - not a programmer, but wifi controlled bulbs are not responsive enough to use in a show.  Works great for simple on and off though.  I use Kasa TP-Link plugin to turn my porch lights off and on from my playlist (FPP).
