Apologies if this is a dumb question.   How do I kill the countdown script?   It says to CTRL C, but that doesn't work - maybe because I'm on a Mac.  Is there a script or a command line I can input to kill it?   Thanks!!!

Did you ever get this working?
I've been trying to figure this out for about two months now...
I have a countdown script that I want to play during the day...  I start it and it runs fine, but I cannot figure out how to stop it.
I would like to schedule the script to run at sunrise, then run another script to stop it at sunset, just before my show starts...  does anyone have an example of a script to stop the countdown script?

Have you looked at the Simple Countdown Plugin? It is a far easier method than the Script method

Is there any documentation on any of these plugins and if so, where do I look.  I couldn't get the Simple Countdown Plugin to work at all and I know that it is not an issue with the plugin, it's that I don't have a clue as to how it works and can't find any documentation on it.

The Simple Countdown is pretty self explanatory but it is also covered in the manual https://falconchristmas.github.io/FPP_Manual.pdf#page=192
