Not a reply, but a similar situation. Using a Kulp32A-B with BBB. TP-Link USB Wireless has been flawless for a year. I tried upgrading from 8.4 to 9.2 last night and after restart, the LCD said "No Network". I brought the Controller into the house, flashed the SD card with a 9.3 image from the git site. I can power on the BBB, USB tether to it, set almost everything, except the wLan0 connection doesn't show up as an option.

Linux (the underlying operating system for FPP) dropped support for older wi-fi adapters, so many adapters that worked in the past, might not work now.

That is odd, I have 5 Raspberry Pi devices of various versions (3, 4, and 5) all connecting via Wi-Fi. Maybe a bad Pi?
What does the troubleshooting commands for Wireless show?

So after experimenting, I swapped a TP-Link AC1300 for the AC600 and the Kulp 32 now finds the hardware and I have a connection. I put the TP-Link AC600 out on the Kulp8 and it no longer found a network. So ordered another AC1300 from Amazon.
