Falcon. F16v4 firmware

I can't get the new firmware to take on my f16v4. I'm on build 34. I've uploaded before. At first I got an error message and then it says it took but the build number never changed. I emailed support because it says they will email file but haven't heard back. Any ideas.

Put the file on a clean sd card and reboot?

I have had to downgrade to an older firmware version before, and then immedately upgrade back to the version I wanted installed.   Sometimes the same version does not install for some reason.
