F16V4 no fan control showing in settings

F16V4 with a 4 pin Noctua NF-A6x25 PWM fan connected in the case.
but cannot find the fan control on the web page under setting.
where do you find the fan Settings.
The controller shows it's on build 33 but I have upgraded the firmware today to 34 and then to 36 but still says build 33 and no Fan settings.
The controller did say the firmware was upgraded and needed to reboot on both versions.

You are still on firmware build 33.  I have had issues upgrading the latest versions over the web interface, and have had to use the SD card method to upgrade the last few versions.  

I have fans on my F16v4, but I don't remember where the settings are.  I took my display down last Saturday when we had 50F weather, and none of my controllers are running to get a print screen.  If someone does not post, I will drag one out and let you know.

It looks like there might have been some confusion on how this actually works, and people were making changes that they should not have made, but that is pure speculation on my part.
By default, the fan will constantly run at 1500 RPM. There is a setting (now somewhat hidden) to allow the user to set a temperature that will cause the fan to ramp up. If you want to set that value (although there are warnings in doing so) You have to type in Controller_IP/advanced.html and in that page uncheck the "Disable Action On Temp Thresholds" and then you will have the settings visible on the Settings page.

Thank you that worked by unchecking Disable Action On Temp Thresholds. The Fan settings now show up under the Settings Tab

Has anyone ever used heat sinks on the processor of any Falcon controllers.? 
Like the ones you can get for the Pi and stick them on.
just curious if this would help to protect the processor at all, I ask because I had an F16v2 Red go down on me and the processor was to hot to touch. I think I heard a crackle while sitting there checking it out.

Have not tried.  My cases are enclosed and the entire box is pretty warm.  I use a https://www.wiredwatts.com/ipv-1115 vent and point the fan to blow out to keep it from sucking in snow in the winter.  A heat sink might be better than nothing, but if it is that warm, it would be probably be better to get some air exchanging from outside.  The aussies would be a much better source to get advice from though.
