I am having an issue with to many pixels per port. I am running a Falcon F16v3 with a 16 port expansion board, i have my fence with 1000 seed pixels on port 29 and nothing on port 13 would i thought was a match. when i try and upload the outputs from xlights to the falcon, it says i am going over my max pixels. not sure whats going on here. You cannot view this attachment. I'm not a user of receivers, but I think for the V3 the rule is the highest per bank counts, so the highest in bank1 (ports 1-16) is used for all bank2 and / or bank3.  The v4 and v5 are different.  Somewhere online is a chart that shows all that.

The F16V3 is a little confusing on this.
The controller works on a Bank system, one bank is 16 ports.
The controller supports 1024 pixels per port in 16 Port mode because you are only using one Bank (No Expansion board)
When you add an expansion board you are adding a Bank and the total pixels per port is shared between the Banks, but the way it is shared is what is confusing.
The size of a Bank is determined by the port with the highest pixel count. And the total pixels per port is calculated by the size of all the banks being used.
In your case, Bank 1 (ports 1-16) is 270 pixels because port 16 has the highest number of pixels at 270. And Bank 2 (ports 17-32) is 1000 pixels because port 16 has the highest number of pixels at 1000.

Because Bank 2 is 1000 pixels, the most that you can assign to any of your Bank 1 ports (1-16) would be 24.

Are you really running 1000 pixels on one port? That can be very problematic.

If to err is human, I am more human than most people.
