Combining multiple shows (models, sequences, etc.) into a single xLights show

I manage a fleet of several hundred parade floats and many of those floats have multiple units (think of a train where you have the locomotive, passenger cars, and a caboose, each is a unit).  Right now, they are all independent controllers each running their own xLights show.  I am planning on tying all of the controllers together (adding a FPP player if needed) so I can run a synchronized show across the entire float and have effects run across the entire float.  Is there a way to take multiple xLights shows (sequence and models) and combine them.  I'm sure there would be a lot of clean-up work after the process with channel numbers and everything else, but it would likely be less than the work of re-creating the models and sequences from scratch.

You could certainly export each model and import it into another sequence.  You could also import the sequencing over once the model is there.  Not sure if there is an easier method.

Not if you let xLights auto-config your controllers ;)

I've found where to export the models under the "tools" menu but I have not found where to import the models into a new sequence.

You don't need to export them. Here is how I think your flow should be.
I would create a new folder for your full train by copying the xlights_networks.xml and xlights_rgbeffects.xml from one of your "cars" and pasting it into your new folder.
1. Go to the layout page and right-click on the layout screen and select Import models/previews/groups from one of the "cars" that isn't in this current layout.
2. Select all that you want to import and repeat #1 until all the cars are in your layout
3. Create a new sequence with the song, and save it
4. Click on the Import>Import Effects and select the sequence file for the first car and select Auto-Map
5. Continue #4 until all the effects from all the cars are now in the one sequence.
If to err is human, I am more human than most people.

You may need to be on the layout tab instead of the sequencer tab for the import option to show up.  @Poporacer's suggestion sounds easier though.
