If you want a "factory" Lynx Express board, they are sold by Minleon.

Minleon bought the design rights, changed to some surface mount components to reduce their cost.

but - you'll get a better price buying someone's used (and therefore tested) board.

I use many of them myself and won't part with my spares.

I haven't seen them that high when I peeked at them.  I know some folks if you are looking for the Minleon board to put you in touch with.

the board was 159.95. And fully assembled with case was 199.95. I'd be interested in your contact. If it's as easy as just cat 5 out of the dmx rs485 fsce off the falcoln then daisy chain a few together. I'd definitely be interested in a few. I'm gonna keep my 32 chan mega tree singing faces and one spare so I'll need 80-96 channels. I'm guessing just set up one universe dedicated to it and build the models. And setup that universe to match those channels

Check and see if taybrynn  in the for sale or trade area at the bottom of this forum  to see if he still has some expresses. I think he was asking 110 with case and cords. He's pretty picky with his equipment so I know you will  get a good board. Hope that helps

I have 10 LEs that I did not use last year.  The LE is a good design and a good box.  Why would you pay twice the price for one from Minleon?  I use to pay less than that for a new LOR box.  Then I switched to Lynx Expresses and got twice the channels for the same money.  But that being said it is your choice and your money.  Just another opinion here.

im not buying the minelon boards. I seen that price and said hel I just stay with my LOR controllers lol. I have 5 LOR controllers now. But want to learn something new as well

Let me check when I get home.. I might have one or two assembled renard boards i can part with... If memory serves me right they are the Ren32 style... that you would need use an external SSR like the Dirk Cheap SSR's... (I know i have a handful of those assembled i might be convinced to part with as well)...If I have them for sure, just make me an offer..

Thanks. I already picked up a Lynx Express from taybrynn (which turned out great), but someone else may be interested.  Seems to be a vibrant market out there for used stuff.  Great community of folks.
