Kulp K16 Max Network Setup

I bought a Kulp K16 max from wired watts and thought I would use it via wifi so bought the Wifi USB adapter. I'm having issues finding documentation on how to set that up with the Pocket Beagle 2 and its USB C. I also bought a LAN USB adapter but am having trouble with both. I have a USB C to USB Standard adapter

When I boot up the K16 max I get FPP Booting on the display and when its done I get Player: IDLE. There is a red LED for the power on the PB2 and blue LEDs everywhere else.

I bought the SD Card from wired watts with FPP installed, but should I check it anyway?

I'm trying to follow the installation instructions for the k16a-b with BB Black, but I can't use the usb for both network adapter and usb tether

The USBC port on the PocketBeagle CANNOT be used for anything other than USB tethering.   The Wifi adapter needs to be put in the USBA ports on the K16-Max.   There are three of them on there.
