Hi, I have a raspberry pi 4 with FPP installed, I can connect it trough Adafruit HAT or ColorLight board to a LED matrix, and it work both ways (meaning it does display the calibration patterns).
But when i upload and play an mp4, either from the web UI or with fpp - P test.mp4 from command line, this get displayed from the HDMI output, not from the matrix.
Am I missing something?
I know many people use xlights as a controller but this would not really be my goal, I'd just like to upload a series of mp4 and see them displayed on the matrix.
Thanks!

You need to specify where to output the video when you setup the playlist entry.  You can either create a Pixel Overlay Model or turn on the setting to auto-create one for your matrix.  Then, in the playlist entry editor, select the model as the output device and the video should play on the panels instead of the HDMI output.

Thank you Chris! I was able to set it both with auto-create and manually.

PROBLEM:
It never really ends a video, it always get stuck for a few moments on some semi-last frames, both if the video is requested directly or within a sequence. Same happen with virtual matrix, while with HDMI output it does play until the end. Other than that the reproduction is smooth, but this is quite a problem. Worth mentioning the FFP device is set as Player, not Remote, and is directly control a ColorLight board via Ethernet (but had the same issue with Adafruit HAT.

QUESTION (less relevant):
It is possible to have multiple output from a single FPP player, and start contents asynchronously?
